RELIEF SYSTEM PRESSURE: Before starting any work, completely lower the attachment to the ground. Turn the engine off and slowly operate the hydraulic control levers in all directions to release any trapped pressure in the system.
DISCONNECT POWER: ALWAYS disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent any risk of electrical shock, short circuits, or accidental activation.
MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS: Hydraulic systems are highly sensitive to contamination. Thoroughly clean the area around the valve and all connection points before disassembly. Cap all open ports immediately after disconnection.

Preparation:
Park the excavator on a firm, level surface. Lower the boom and attachment fully and engage the safety lockout.
Gather clean tools, appropriate wrenches, and new seals or O-rings if they are not pre-installed on the new valve.
Removal of Old Solenoid Valve:
Take a clear photograph of the wiring and hose connections for reference.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the solenoid.
Using the correct size wrenches, carefully loosen and remove the hydraulic connection(s). Be prepared for a small amount of oil to escape.
Unbolt and remove the faulty valve from its mounting.
Installation of New COGENG Valve:
Compare the new COGENG SV-KOB-6E-003F1 valve with the old one to confirm an identical configuration.
Install the new valve using the mounting bolts, ensuring it is seated correctly.
Reconnect the hydraulic line(s), using new seals if necessary, and tighten to the proper torque.
Reconnect the electrical connector, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
Final Verification and Testing:
Before reconnecting the battery, perform a visual check to ensure all connections are secure and correct.
Reconnect the battery terminal.
Start the engine and let it idle. Observe the area around the new valve for any signs of hydraulic leaks.
Slowly operate the hydraulic function controlled by this valve. Listen for unusual noises and feel for smooth operation. This will help bleed any air from the circuit.
Check the hydraulic fluid level and top up if necessary.
