Pre-Installation Preparation
Identify specific valve location and application
Clean work area around each valve location
Verify correct valve selection for each position
Gather appropriate tools and sealants
System Safety Depressurization
Cycle all hydraulic controls to relieve pressure
Slowly loosen hydraulic connections to release residual pressure
Cap open hydraulic lines immediately
Valve Replacement Process
Disconnect electrical connector
Remove old valve using proper tools
Clean mounting surface thoroughly
Install new valve with appropriate sealant
Torque to specified values (20-30 Nm / 15-22 ft-lbs)
System Testing & Commissioning
Reconnect all electrical connections
Reconnect battery
Start tractor and operate at idle
Check for leaks at each installation point
Verify proper function of all systems
Installation Specifications:
Mounting torque: 20-30 Nm (15-22 ft-lbs)
Thread sealant: Loctite 577 or Teflon tape
Fluid compatibility: Check manufacturer specifications
Electrical connection: Secure until audible click
