COGENG Pressure Sensor for Sany Excavator SY235 SY365

Sany

Common Types of Pressure Sensors on Sany Excavators

Pressure sensors at different locations serve different functions and cannot be used interchangeably:

  • Main Pump Pressure Sensor (P1/P2 Pump Pressure): Installed at the hydraulic pump outlet to monitor the main system pressure (typically 31.5–34.3 MPa / 4,500–5,000 psi). Sany commonly uses HUBA (Switzerland) or WIKA (Germany) brands. The output signals are mostly 4–20 mA current type or 0.5–4.5 V voltage type.

  • Pilot Pressure Sensor: Installed on the pilot pump or in the pilot oil circuit to monitor pilot pressure (approximately 3.5–4.0 MPa). It is used for controlling the micro-movement signals of the joysticks and foot pedals.

  • Return Oil Pressure Sensor: Installed on the return oil line to the hydraulic tank to monitor backpressure, preventing excessively high pressure when the filter becomes clogged.

  • Fuel Pressure Sensor (on some electronic-injection engines): Installed on the common rail or after the fuel filter to monitor fuel supply pressure.
